Always up to meet new people and make new friends. I don't bite, usually... and then it is only because I was asked to bite :P Seriously though, I am a bit shy and may come off as a little stand-offish, but I am not. I guess I was never socialized properly :P

Random Things About Me:

~ I am of the female persuasion although I am far more comfortable in typically male roles and dress; I do not feel I was born with the wrong plumbing (not saying I don't wonder what it would be like, I think we all do at one point or another). I am an unrepentant tom-boy, however, that gets called 'sir' far more than 'ma'am' when out in public and I rarely am arsed to correct anyone.

~ I am single and I prefer it that way, not to say I wouldn't change that opinion for the right person. I don't necessarily consider myself bi, but I am not straight either. I am more attracted to the person and their mind than I am to what is or is not dangling between their legs.

~ I consider myself an agnostic pagan. Religions of all varieties fascinate me and I enjoy studying them and talking with believers of all traditions. Even atheists, and yes, I consider atheism a religion of sorts. However, don't decide to comment on my beliefs in a passive aggressive way by saying 'I'll pray for you'. Not objecting to you tossing a few prayers skyward to TPTB if I am sick or troubled, but my not believing as you do is not a sign of sickness or being troubled.

~ As far as politics go, I am an odd mix of liberalism and conservatism.


~ Due to illnesses physical and mental, I am on disability. Bipolar, Panic Disorder, PTSD, OCD, and chronic pain due to various injuries and the doctor I am seeing now seems to think I might have Fibromyalgia as well. I refuse to give up however, and I do not want to be on disability for forever. I would like to reach a point in recovery and management, where I could hold down a job. I am continuing my education as my disability allows and will eventually have degrees in Library Sciences and US History with minors in Native American Studies and Spanish.

~ Hobbies- I am an avid reader, writer and gamer.

I write fanfiction and original fiction. A friend and I are currently working on a spy novel with steam punk and fantasy elements. I am also currently working on a Trek themed novel using the standards of Simon Schuster has set forth for even looking at Trek manuscripts. I also write fanfic from the muse standpoint as well as pieces not done from a muse POV. I also dabble in poetry. I won't inflict any of the poetry on you though.

Fanfic and any original fic posted here or in a muse journal may contain slash and or het. It will be clearly labeled.

Most original stuff is kept at writing.com, but I have been toying around the idea of creating a couple of muse journals for a couple OC's from my original fiction to play with.

I enjoy playing games of all sorts- computer, board and card games. Computer games such as WoW and Sims 3. Board games such as Iron Dragon, Settlers of Cataan and chess. Card games such as V:tES and poker.
